The Golden Knights just needed three sets inside the Highmark Events Center on Friday evening en route to earning the 3-0 sweep over Slippery Rock.
The Golden Knights improved to 8-1 in the PSAC West and 17-3 overall, while Slippery Rock dropped to 3-7 in the PSAC West and 11-12 overall.

How it happened
- The second set seemed to be competitive early, after both teams traded points back-and-forth. It was the Golden Knights who went on to pull ahead after being tied 8-8, using an 8-3 run to grab a 16-11 lead and later secured a 25-18 set two victory.
- The Rock jumped out to a quick 7-4 lead in the third set before Gannon rallied eight unanswered points to take a 12-7 advantage. The Golden Knights continued to dominate, never trailed, and sealed the contest, scoring five consecutive points to earn the 25-14 set three win.

- Journey Blevins (Richwood, Ohio/North Union) led the Golden Knights in double-double fashion. Blevins recorded 18 kills and finished with a .371 hitting percentage, while also picking up 11 digs.
- Hailey Koch (Littleton, Col./Dakota Ridge) added nine kills and a block, while Nehir Yazicioglu (Ankara, Turkey) chipped in four kills and a block assist.
- Lauren Atwell (Mars, Pa./Mars Area) finished the contest with a team-high four block solos and one block assist.
- Ali Sorenson (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln Way East) added one block solo, two block assists, and three kills on the night.
- Bengisu Arslan (Ankara, Turkey/Private Çankaya Doga Anatolian) added a team-high 17 assists, while Marta Roicka (Warsaw, Poland/North Central Texas Academy) chipped in 12, and Emma Hall (Lowell, Mich./Lowell) finished with six.
- The Golden Knights led in all categories and finished the night with 39 kills, 5 aces, 10 blocks, 37 assists, and 56 digs.
- Callie Chevalier led The Rock offense with seven kills.
