After 10 non-conference matches to start the 2022 season, the Gannon women's volleyball team will open PSAC Western Division play on Tuesday at California.
The Golden Knights will bring a 6-4 record into the 7 p.m. match against the Vulcans at the Convocation Center. This is also the PSAC West opener for California, which has a 6-4 record after sweeping home-and-away matches against Shepherd last week, including a 3-1 win at the Convocation Center on Saturday.
Gannon is coming off a weekend when it went 2-1 at the Highmark Events Center. The Golden Knights defeated East Stroudsburg 3-0 and West Virginia Wesleyan 3-1 on Friday before losing to Findlay in three close sets on Saturday.
This will be the Knights' second true road match this season. They lost to Hillsdale 3-0 in the Charger Invitational on September 2. They are 5-1 at home and 1-2 at a neutral setting.
