Gannon is set to return home to the Hammermill Center for two games this week vs. Bluefield State. The Golden Knights have dominated their opponents this season, winning by an average of 21.5 points.
Emily Poling (Defiance, Ohio/Defiance) has lead Gannon recently, with a game-high 15 points and four assists against Roberts Wesleyan. After falling just short in their first game against Daemen last weekend, the Golden Knights rebounded and won their second game 65-56.

The Golden Knights begin the Spring 2021 season against Hillsdale this weekend. They begin their nontraidtional spring season after the fall regular season was derailed due to COVID-19. The Golden Knights look to continue their streak of successful seasons. Their 2019 campaign included a 30-7 record and NCAA Elite Eight appearance. Senior
Ashley Beyers (Lanark, Ill./Eastland) finished the 2019 season with 1,411 assists and 84 blocks. In the AVCA Coaches Poll, Gannon is ranked No. 23.
Men's Wrestling Returns to the Mat at Mercyhurst

Men's Wrestling will compete against Mercyhurst and Lake Erie this Saturday at Mercyhurst. This will be their second match up against Mercyhurst this season. Gehrig Hutchinson,
Nick Coreno (Willoughby, Ohio/Lake Catholic),
Aiden Rabideau (Newstead, N.Y./Clarence), and
Bryan Zehe (Thompson, Ohio/Madison) all defeated their Mercyhurst opponents last week at the Round Robin against Mercyhurst and Edinboro.
Charlie Lenox (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf),
Jacob Dunlop (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon),
Evan Fisler (Sewell, N.J./Washington Township),
Nick Young (Batavia, N.Y./Alexander),
Alex Farenchak (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside),
Connor Day (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois Central), and
Joel Leise (Transfer, Pa./Reynolds) all earned wins in their bouts last week as well. Mercyhurst is currently 0-1 on the season, while Lake Erie is 1-1.
Men's Water Polo Heads to Mount. St. Mary's for a Two Games

Men's Water Polo is back in action in Emmitsburg, Maryland, against Mount St. Mary's and Mercyhurst. This will be their second meeting with Mount St. Mary's of the season. The Golden Knights defeated the Mount 26-5 on Jan. 21. During the victory, the Golden Knights broke an 11-year-old program record of 25 goals in a game. During the 2019 season,
Drago Marjanovic (Belgrade, Serbia/North Allegheny (Pa.)) led the Golden Knights in goals with a season total of 63. The Golden Knights are looking to continue this momentum against Mount St. Mary's, which is in its inaugural season. Mercyhurst will open their season later in the day against Gannon. The Lakers finished their previous season with a 9-17 record.

The Golden Knights head to Clarion this weekend for their second match of the season. The Knights are coming off their season opener against Youngstown State.
Stephen McCallum (Cape Town, South Africa/Wynberg Boys') took first place in the 200 free and 100 back and
Joe Campbell (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) took first place in the 1-meter diving. The Women's team had four first place finishes.
Silvija Taraska (Wickliffe, Ohio/Lake Catholic) took first in the 100 breast and 100 free.
Zoe Snyder (Girard, Pa./Girard) took first in the 50 free. Last season, the Men's Swimming team had nine school records.

Silvija Taraska (Wickliffe, Ohio/Lake Catholic) set a new record in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke.
Women's Wrestling Travels to Tiffin for Duals against Tiffin, Adrian, and King

Women's Wrestling heads to Tiffin after opening their season at Adrian College in January. The Golden Knights had three individual champions at the Adrian Invitation, with
Caleeann Blarr (Girard, Pa./Girard),
Lana Perez (Honolulu, Hawaii/Moanalua), and
Amara Devericks (Capistrano Beach, Calif./Corona) earning individual titles. During the 2019 season, the Golden Knights defeated Tiffin 29-13.
