Delaney Dogan (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex) posted career-highs of 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead Gannon to a 64-59 win over Lynn on Friday afternoon in the opening round of the Terrace Hotel Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by Florida Southern. The eighth-ranked Golden Knights improved to 3-0 on the young season while the Fighting Knights dropped to 1-3.

Boston McKinney (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) stepped to the line and made a pair of huge free throws. Webb missed a three and Margo Loutzenhiser (Russell, Pa./Warren Area) pulled down the rebound and was fouled. The junior made both at the charity stripe with 14 seconds left as the lead grew again to 64-59. Lynn would miss a 3-pointer and a layup in the final seconds.
