Edinboro scored their first point on a free throw at the 8:41 mark, but Obenrader got a layup on back-to-back possessions making it a 10-1 lead before a timeout from the Fighting Scots. Sam Pirosko (Eastlake, Ohio/Eastlake North) came off the bench scoring five quick points, and Tewes ended the first with a layup giving Gannon a 19-7 edge.
- Bridgette Shaffer stepped up for Edinboro in the second quarter connecting on four three pointers. She scored out of the break to get her first three points of the contest. The Knights responded with 9-0 run to widen the lead 28-10. Chelsea Rourke (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) scored on a pair of free throws and a layup to get the first four points. Daria-Hanna Koul (Minsk, Belarus/J. Addison) and Faith Williams (Grafton, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) got on the board wrapping up the final five points. - The third quarter started in favor of the Fighting Scots with a 9-2 run. Shaffer was still feeling it from the arc as she knocked down her fifth of the game just 12 seconds into the quarter. Edinboro's run was broken up by a layup from Obenrader, but Rana Elhusseini and Alexis Rodenbaugh scored layups on the next two possessions to complete the run for EU. The Fighting Scots got within seven points, but Rourke knocked down a jumper to close the quarter giving Gannon a nine point edge.
- In the first half of the fourth, Edinboro continued to challenge Gannon hanging with the Knights. Rodenbaugh and Elhusseini scored EU's first buckets of the fourth. Obenrader matched Elhusseini's three with one of her own. Shaffer responded for the Fighting Scots knocking another down from the arc. Barnes scored at the 5:16 mark for Edinboro's final points of the game bringing them within five of Gannon. Mckinney sparked a 12-0 run to close the game.
