The Short Story: The Golden Knights capped the regular season with a 4-0 win over Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon to extend their win streak to 10 consecutive games.
Sergio Del Castillo (Madrid, Spain) netted the game winner a little over a minute into the match. He would finish with two goals in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At the 1:08 mark, Castillo put the Knights up 1-0 on an assist from Gannon goalkeeper Chandler Hallwood (Halifax, England/Woodhouse Grove). Castillo's first goal would go down as the game winner.
- Castillo scored again for the Knights in the 17th minute. James Randall (Brampton, Ontario/Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School) set a pass to Castillo who put Gannon up 2-0.
- In the 39th minute, Lennox Crews (Offenbach, Germany/Leibnizschule) made it a 3-0 game, while Castillo tallied his fifth point of the match with an assist on the goal.
- Joe Knox (Gold Coast, Australia/The Southport School) scored the final goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 88th minute. Gannon won 4-0.

GAME NOTES
- Gannon has scored at least four goals in seven of their wins this season.
- This win marks the tenth straight win for the Knights. It is the first time in the past 10 seasons that Gannon has won 10 or more consecutive games.
- Castillo has now tallied an assist in each of the last four matches. He has recorded goals in the past two.
- He finished the match with six total shots to lead both teams. Five of his shots were on goal.
- Alex Lee Yaw (Jamestown, N.Y./Mercyhurst Prep) and Ben Andrews (Saxonburg, Pa./Knoch) added three shots each, while Knox and Crews had two.
- Hallwood earned his seventh shutout of the year in goal. HE made four stops today.
- The Knights held the Rock to six shots in the match, while they took 18.
- Matt Hunsberger and Derek Hoffman split time in goal. Hunsberger collects the loss. They combined for seven saves.
- Gannon advances to the PSAC Tournament for the fourth straight year.
