The Short Story: With just three matches left in the regular season, 20^th-ranked Gannon women's volleyball continues to surge, picking up the team's 14^th straight win following a 3-0 sweep of Bloomsburg.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lady Knights opened the match with a 6-2 lead in the first set, with Ashley McClung (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) and Laura Bebinger (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) sparking the Gannon offense early.
Gannon strung together four points in a row following kills from Ashley Beyers (Lanark, Ill./Eastland), Lexi Johnson (Chandler, Ariz./Basha) and two from McClung for a 14-9 lead in the first set.
Gannon continued to gain separation with another four-point swing for a 22-15 lead in the first set.
Bloomsburg responded with a strong start to begin the second set as the Huskies jumped out to a 7-4 lead.
Ashley Kerestes (Loves Park, Ill./Rockford Lutheran) helped fuel a short Gannon rally with back-to-back kills followed by a kill from Toni Leitshuh (Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) and a Bloomsburg attack error to tie the second set at 10.
Gannon seized control of the second set with an 8-1 flurry to take an 18-13 second set lead. The Lady Knights fired off six kills in the scoring run.
Johanna Gregory (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield) capped the second set with a kill as Gannon prevailed by a 25-17 margin.
Bloomsburg began the third set with a 7-3 run to take the early lead.
The Lady Knights roared back with 19 of the next 20 points in the set for a 23-8 lead in the third set.
Gregory put down a kill off a set from Abby Kane (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) to end the match.

GAME NOTES

Gannon held a 40-22 edge in kills and a 53-43 advantage in digs.
The Lady Knights assisted on 37 of 40 kills. Beyers picked up 25 assists in the match while Valeria Torres (Gurabo, Puerto Rico/Notre Dame) added five assists.
McClung put down a team-high 10 kills and added two block assists.
Kerestes added eight kills while Leitshuh had seven kills of her own.
Three players had 10 or more digs for the Lady Knights.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

McClung had double-figure kills for the 11^th time this season.
Gannon has won in straight sets in four of the last five matches.
Gannon is 7-1 in road matches this season.
Bloomsburg women's volleyball is competing in its first season as a program.
