HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Mathias Krigbaum (Greve, Denmark/Greve Gymnasium) tallied Gannon's first goal of the season in the 56th minute. Krigbaum was taken down in the box, drawing a penalty kick which he converted on. Gannon went up 1-0.
  • Urbana tallied the equalizer in the 61st minute. Thibaut Bourrier took an Antoine Ravera corner kick and headed it into the goal.
  • Bourrier was back in on the scoring action in the 80th minute. Moyin Ogunjobi assisted the go-ahead goal.
  • With only 29 seconds remaining and what could have been the final shot of the match, Alex Lee Yaw (Jamestown, N.Y./Mercyhurst Prep) bent a corner kick towards Sergio Kobowane (Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edward VII). Kobowane took the Lee Yaw pass and directed the ball off the crossbar and in.
  • The match went to overtime tied at two.
  • Antoine Ravera sealed the game in favor of the Blue Knights just four-plus minutes of overtime.
