  • Seton Hill finally scored when Noah Davis hit a jumper with 8:17 expired in the contest. The Gannon defense held the Griffins to 0-of-11 shooting with three turnovers during the scoreless drought.
  • Back-to-back lay-ups from Dogan and freshman Jimmy Berger (Medina, Ohio/Saint Ignatius) pushed the Gannon advantage to 24-9 with 4:13 left in the first half.
  • The Golden Knights assumed their biggest lead of the evening at 34-15 following a Dogan three-pointer at the 1:57 mark.
  • The home squad eventually settled for a 34-19 edge at the intermission.
  • Gannon doubled Seton Hill 38-19 on Phoenix's dunk 35 seconds into the second half, before the visitors started to chip away.
  • Five quick Seton Hill points cut the deficit to 41-27. The Griffins drew within 47-44 after a 17-2 blitz moments later, capped by Trevor Lecuona's triple with 9:27 remaining. Seton Hill went 4-of-5 from behind the arc during the rally.
  • Gannon answered with a three-pointer from junior Zay Jackson (Queens, N.Y./Westside) and then held a 52-45 edge after junior Gerrell Williams (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview)' lay-up at the 7:56 mark.
  • Seton Hill counterpunched with a 10-2 run that gave the visitors their first lead of the contest on Nathan Davis' jumper with 3:52 to play.
  • The final 3:13 of regulation featured four ties. Seton Hill gained a 61-59 lead on Nathan Davis' jumper at the 1:38 mark, before Phoenix's lay-up with 27 seconds remaining tied the contest. • Seton Hill countered with its own lay-up and free throw to cut the deficit to 75-72.
