ERIE, Pa. - Saturday's Gannon-Lock Haven women's soccer match at McConnell Family Stadium has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. No make-up date has been announced.
The start of the contest was initially delayed 35 minutes due to lightning. Once the match began, the two teams were only able to get eight minutes and eight seconds in before a storm with extremely heavy rain pushed through the area. The field was eventually deemed unplayable after a two-hour, 15-minute delay and the match was called at 8 p.m.
Gannon (2-2-1, 2-2 PSAC) returns to action Saturday, September 24 at Millersville. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
