QUOTABLES | HEAD COACH MATT DARLING

  • "This was a fun, well-played match by both teams, with lots of offense and side-out play. It's the kind of match that we need to play in order to learn how to win – so even though we didn't get a win today, this is what we need in the pre-conference part of our schedule."

UP NEXT

  • The Lady Knights travel to North Easton, Mass. for the Stonehill Skyhawks Invitational Sept. 11, opening against the host Skyhawks at 7 p.m. The next day, Gannon will face Dowling College and Dominican College at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
