ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon-Indiana (Pa.) Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) softball doubleheader scheduled for Monday, March 23, at Podbielski Field has been postponed due to a winter storm that left the field conditions unplayable. It marks the second time the twinbill has been postponed. A rescheduled date for the doubleheader has yet to be determined.
 
Gannon owns a 6-5 overall record this season following a week-long stretch to open the month of March at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. The Lady Knights posted a 5-1 mark against NCAA Atlantic Region competition.
 
The Lady Knights have been idle since their trip to the National Training Center due to either weather or field conditions. GU has watched its last 12 games postponed or canceled including a trip to Virginia.
 
Gannon will open its conference slate in doubleheader action at GU Field against Edinboro March 24. The twinbill is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. Visit gannonsports.com for schedule updates.
