The Short Story: The Gannon men's soccer honored their seniors with a 2-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match Saturday evening in Erie, Pa.

Click HereHOW IT HAPPENED- Neither team was able to put a point on the scoreboard in the first half, but Gannon's offense took eight shots at the Mountain Lions goalie.
- The Golden Knights recorded six corner kicks in the first half.
- Nick Stephenson (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon Lake) put the Golden Knights on the board with a header from Jason Fox (Southport, Australia/The Southport School) in the 78th minute of action, giving Gannon a 1-0 lead.
- Five minutes later Hamza Mourchid (Hombourg-Haut, France/Poncelet) extended the Golden Knights lead, 2-0, as Mourchid received a pass from Tyler Martin (Cambridge, Ontario/Monsignor Doyle) and Mourchid ripped it from 25 yards out and it went off the goalies hands.
- The Golden Knights went on for the 2-0 shutout of Pitt-Johnstown.
- Gannon outshot UPJ 18-5, and had 19 corner kicks in the victory.
- Jorge Hernandez (Atvidaberg,Ostergotland (Sweden)/Bildningscentrum Facetten) had three saves in between the pipes for the Golden Knights.
