Winners of three straight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover action, the Lady Knights' offensive struggles resulted in a 57-31 loss to host Millersville Saturday afternoon at the Pucillo Gymnasium. Senior Mollie Sebald (Broadview Heights, Ohio/Holy Name) led the Lady Knights with 11 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gannon faced a 13-7 deficit with 12:12 remaining in the first half following a three from Millersville's Shelby Reimer. A three by Sebald and a successful visit to the foul line by junior Jennie Thies (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern) capped an 8-2 Lady Knights' run to even the game at 15 all.
- Scoring 14 of the final 15 points in the opening half, the host Marauders took a 29-16 lead into the break. The Lady Knights' lone point came off a Sebald free throw. During the span, the Lady Knights missed all six shots from the floor including three turnovers.
- The Lady Knights and Marauders battled in the opening five minutes of the second half. Each team scored nine points, as the Lady Knights were able to pull to within 13 of the Marauders' 38-25 lead.
- Starting with just under 15 minutes left in regulation, the Marauders used another run to extend their lead to 50-27 over the Lady Knights. The Lady Knights struggled to connect from the floor once again, shooting 0-for-10 during the span including all five chances from beyond the arc. The Marauders' 12-2 run was capped by back-to-back layups from leading scorer Carly Gallagher.
- To close out the game, the Marauders sealed the 57-31 win with seven unanswered points in the final five minutes. The final basket of the game came with 2:19 left in regulation on a basket by redshirt sophomore Lanise Saunders (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice).
