ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon women's volleyball team will host another two-day crossover this weekend, as the Lady Knights welcome Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams from across the Eastern and Western Divisions to the Hammermill Center for the PSAC East/West Crossover on Sept. 27-28. The cross-divisional event will feature Cheyney, East Stroudsburg, Kutztown and West Chester of the Eastern Division and Edinboro and the Lady Knights of the Western Division in a total of eight matches with four matches each day.

- At the PSAC/Mountain East Crossover, host Gannon swept each of its opponents to post a 3-0 record.
- With a win over West Virginia State, the Golden Knights captured their 16th consecutive win at the Hammermill Center, dating back to last season. 
- In the NCAA Division II national rankings, the Golden Knights are 35th in hitting percentage (0.236) and 45th in blocks per set (2.17). Sophomore Lynne Hibbard ranks 37th in the individual rankings for blocks per set (1.13).

CHEYNEY GAME NOTES
- For the first time in PSAC history, the conference named Cheyney the Volleyball Athlete of the Week for its first win over an NCAA Division II opponent in over 20 years. The Wolves captured a sweep over Shaw University, 3-0, on Sept. 21.
- The Wolves collected their second win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Lincoln on Sept. 25. The win will give Cheyney its first multi-win season since 1995.
- Cheyney will face host Gannon to open the PSAC East/West Crossover at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.

- In the PSAC/Mountain East Crossover held on the campuses of West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 20-21, Edinboro went a combined 2-2 on the weekend.
- Edinboro currenlty first in digs per set in the NCAA Division II national rankings, averagin 21.61. The Fighting Scots also rank 26th in aces per set (2.14) and 34th in kills per set (13.33). 
- Junior Haley Marett is ranked third in the nation in digs (6.42) and 60th in aces per set (0.53).

- The unbeaten Golden Rams are currently tied with nine other teams for the best winning percentage (1.000) in the nation.  
- Among the NCAA Division II national rankings, the Golden Rams are 29th in blocks per set (2.31) and 40th in hitting percentage (.233).

- East Stroudsburg went 0-4 in the American International Invitational on Sept. 21-22. The Warriors were swept in the first three matches before forcing a five-set match against Southern Connecticut to conclude their time in the invitational.
- The Warriors opened PSAC action against Cheyney on Sept. 17 with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Wolves.
- Junior Annabelle Charlton was named the PSAC East Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week on Sept. 10 following the host Warriors' 3-1 record at the ESU Invitational.
