ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon volleyball team hosts Lake Erie College Tuesday, September 8 at the Hammermill Center. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.

The Lady Knights won their first four matches of the season before dropping two five-set matches September 5. GU (4-2) fell to Wisconsin-Parkside and Adelphi in the Gannon Invitational. 

The Storm competed in the Davis & Elkins Senator SpikeFest last weekend, winning three of four contests. LEC (6-3) beat Pitt-Johnstown and Ohio Valley September 4 and then defeated West Virginia Wesleyan before falling to West Liberty September 5. 

Gannon and Lake Erie met twice during the 2008 season. GU swept at home August 29 and then took a four-set decision at LEC October 11. 

Freshman Lauren Sazama (St. Louis, Mo./Oakville) leads the Knights with 88 kills and 70 digs. The Storm feature a balanced attack, with four players recording over 20 kills in 2009.
