ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon volleyball team will host the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Crossover September 11-12 at the Hammermill Center.
The Lady Knights face Alderson-Broaddus Friday at 4 p.m. Saturday, GU takes on West Virginia Wesleyan at noon and then Wheeling Jesuit in a 4 p.m. match.

Gannon is 5-2 in 2009, coming off a home win over Lake Erie September 8. Freshman
Morgan Reineke (New Knoxville, Ohio/New Knoxville) recorded 13 kills and three aces in the victory.
A-B is 4-5 this season after going 25-13 in 2008. The Battlers are led by junior Amanda Check. She has 72 kills and 80 digs this season.
Wesleyan is 3-6 in 2009. Hayley Barhorst has dished out 280 assists this year.
The Lady Bobcats went 13-15 a season ago.
Wheeling, runner-up in the WVIAC last season, has gone 6-3 this year. Allissa Ware leads the Cardinals with 64 kills in 2009. WJU recorded a 30-10 mark in 2008.
PSAC schools Clarion and Mercyhurst will also compete in the event. The Lakers are hosting all three visiting WVIAC teams at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
Gannon went 3-2 against WVIAC opponents in 2008. The Knights are 31-14 all-time when facing WVIAC schools.
