  • The Golden Knights set a new program record with their final score of 280.665 in their dual at No. 1 Baylor in early March, a mark that was also the fifth highest in the country on the season
  • Three days later, Gannon kept up its hot streak by setting a new program record with a 29.70 in the toss event at No. 6 Hawaii Pacific, which was the highest score in the country in the 2020 season in the event
  • Senior Jocelyn Scott was named to the NCATA All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season, and was named one of the recipients of Chi Alpha Sigma’s inaugural Nick Mourouzis Postgraduate Scholarship
  • 23 Knights earned a spot on the NCATA’s Academic Honor Roll, the highest number of any team in the country
  • Gannon saw its final two duals, as well as a shot at a fifth consecutive berth in the NCATA National Championships, canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finishing the season 2-2 overall

  • Eshleman-led Gannon teams hold the program record in total score, three of six events, and 17 of 19 heats, and have posted six perfect scores, including three perfect 10s
 
2019
  • Gannon finished the season 4-2 overall, reaching the NCATA quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive year and second straight under Eshleman’s tutelage
  • Began the season 3-0 and rose as high as No. 5 in the nation, the highest ranking ever for the Golden Knights
  • The 450 salto toss, trio tumbling and aerial tumbling heats qualified for the NCATA Event Finals, with all three placing third in the nation
  • Junior Jocelyn Scott was named to the inaugural NCATA All-Academic Team, 23 student-athletes earned spots on the NCATA Academic Honor Roll, and 24 were named to the PSAC Scholar-Athlete list
  • Gannon earned eight weekly honors (Athlete, Rookie or Specialist of the Week) from the ECAC, and saw four individuals named to the all-conference first team
 
2018
  • Gannon, the Erie Sports Commission and the city of Erie were awarded the hosting rights for the 2018 National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association National Championships, which took place April 26-28 at the Hammermill Center
  • With a score of 9.875, Gannon’s inversion pyramid won the NCATA event national championship, the third in the program’s history
  • The Golden Knights finished the season 5-4 overall, with all four setbacks coming to eventual NCATA semifinalists Oregon and Quinnipiac, and reached the NCATA quarterfinals for the third consecutive season
  • Three other groups qualified for the event finals, with the open pyramid, open toss and trio tumbling all placing third in the nation
  • Senior Chelsea Cowan was named a NCATA All-American, and junior Lisa Wagaman earned the NCATA’s Louise Goodrum Academic Achievement Award
  • Three Knights picked up ECAC all-conference honors, and seven combined weekly awards from either the NCATA or ECAC throughout the season

Alderson Broaddus
  • Served as head coach at Division II Alderson Broaddus in Philippi, West Virginia for four years from 2013-17
  • Was the first coach in the program’s history as the program began starting with the 2014 season, and led the Battlers to the NCATA quarterfinals in each of her four seasons at the helm
  • Coached a pair of event national champions, including 7-element acro in 2015 and open toss in 2016
  • Named the 2015 NCATA Coach of the Year
  • Coached three-time NCATA All-American and current Gannon assistant Alia Nolan, as well as 2017 ECAC Player of the Year Alanna Kelley
  • Held the Battlers to a high standard in the classroom as well, maintaining a 3.0 GPA and placing nine student-athletes on the ECAC’s inaugural Academic Honor Roll
 
Quinnipiac
  • Served as an assistant coach at Division I Quinnipiac in Hamden, Connecticut for two years from 2010-12
  • Helped the Bobcats reach the 2011 NCATA semifinals, while the team produced the highest scoring basket in the country
  • Mentored the program’s first two All-Americans in 2012
  • Assisted with the pyramid event, culminating in an event national championship

  • Began her collegiate career at Kennesaw State (Ga.), earning All-America honors as a competitive cheerleader and helping the Owls to a pair of top-four finishes at the National Cheerleaders Association national championships
  • Transferred to Oregon to take part in the school’s inaugural acrobatics and tumbling team, helping the Ducks finish third in the nation at the NCA National Championships
