Freeman was named Most Outstanding Player of the Disney Tip-Off Classic played in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Freeman averaged 15.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and two steals in three games at the classic. The senior guard shot 54.1 percent from the field, hitting 20-of-37 shots. She opened the weekend with 15 points against Northeastern State (Okla.), including the game-winning jumper with 52 seconds left. Freeman concluded the weekend with 11 points against ninth-ranked Stonehill (Mass.) and 21 points against Southern New Hampshire. She also landed a spot on the all-tournament team.
