Chirco led the Gannon women's soccer team to a 1-1 week as the Lady Knights defeated Edinboro 2-1 and fell at Slippery Rock by the same score. Gannon is currently ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic region. Chirco opened the week with seven saves against Edinboro, including one on a breakway with under 30 seconds left to play in regulation. She then turned away a season-high 11 shots against Slippery Rock, keeping the Lady Knights in a match where they were out-shot 19-5. Chirco needs one shutout to tie the school's career record of 13. She is also three victories shy of the school's record for goalkeeper victories (24).
