Richardson became Gannon’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards (3,720) and points (222) during the final home football game of his collegiate career, a 27-0 shutout of Lock Haven. The senior tailback rushed for a season-high 155 yards, moving into third place all-time at Gannon with 2,632 career rushing yards. He scored three touchdowns in a game for the second time this season and third time in his career, tying the school record for touchdowns in a game. In the process, he also broke Gannon’s single-season scoring record with 96 points this season. With Gannon leading 10-0 at halftime, Richardson ended all doubt with two touchdowns in the first 6:28 of the second half. He scored from 38 yards out on the second play of the second half and added a second score from 23 yards out with 8:32 left in the third quarter. He was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
