Curtis, a redshirt junior from Cape Coral, Fla., led Gannon to its first upset of a ranked opponent since 2011, defeating IUP 43-36. Curtis accounted for six TDs and a two-point. conversion for 38 points in all. He completed four TD passes covering 14, 75, 55, and eight yards along with TD runs of 10 and one yard. He scored the winning touchdown on a one-yard run with 5:09 remaining in the game. Curtis completed 23-of-28 passes for 342 yards and four TDs with zero INTs, adding nine yards rushing and two TDs. In addition,Curtis returned to his punting duties after not doing it for several weeks due to an injury. He punted three times for a 45.3 yards average, including a career-best 65-yarder. Gannon finished with 464 yards, the most allowed by IUP this year.
