Toyama, a freshman midfielder from Kanagawa, Japan, tallied the first two assists of his career in last Saturday's 2-2 draw with Seton Hill, coming off the bench to play a season-high 57 minutes. Toyama's ability to deliver the ball from set pieces was critical to Gannon's comeback effort, and both of the team's goals came from corner kicks that Toyama sent into the box.
