Deimel led the Gannon men's golf team to a 12th-place finish at the Vulcan Invitational October 4-5. The junior headlined six Golden Knights with a two-day total of 149, tying for 12th place overall. He was tied for sixth place after tying a career-low 71 during the first round. Deimel then fired a 78 during the final round. He has placed in the top 20 during every event this season, averaging 74.7 strokes in six rounds. Deimel owns a career 75.1 average in 35 career rounds.
