Jacob earned the Super Region 1 championship at 125 pounds. It was his second consecutive title (although he won it at 133 pounds in 2021) and will be making his fourth career trip to the National tournament on March 11-12 in St. Louis, Mo. Jacob improved his season record to 21-3 after defeating two nationally-ranked wrestlers on his way to the title: No. 12 Matt Wilde of Kutztown in the semis and No. 11-ranked Tyshawn White of Shippensburg in the finals.
