Sampson led the Golden Knights to the national semifinals by recording 35 kills, 38 digs, six blocks and two aces in two games for Gannon during the national quarterfinals and semifinals. She began the week by recording 21 kills and 17 digs in Gannon's national quarterfinal win over Hillsdale on Thursday evening. She hit .254 in the match with 21 kills and just four attack errors. She followed up that performance by recording a team-high 14 kills to go with 21 digs and two block assists in the national semifinals against top-seeded (and eventual National Champion) Tampa University.
