Sam Pirosko has started the 2021-2022 season strong and excelled during the team’s trip to Florida to play in the Terrace Hotel Thanksgiving Classic at Florida Southern College. She began the weekend with 13 points, five rebounds, and six steals in Friday’s 64-59 victory over Lynn University and followed it up with a game-high 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting (and 8-of-8 from the free throw line) to help Gannon defeat Florida Southern, 75-74. Pirosko is averaging a team-high 21.8 points per game with an impressive .577 field goal percentage—and is also tied for the team lead in rebounds per game with six.
