Ashley Beyers, this week's PSAC Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week, was also honored as the Gannon student-athlete of the week after guiding the GU offense from her setter position last week. She began the week by recording 35 assists, 16 digs and two aces in Gannon's nonconference win over Daemen College on Tuesday night at the Hammermill Center. Her effort against Daemen allowed the senior to surpass the 4,000-career assist mark. She is just the second player in program history to surpass the milestone. She followed up that performance by recording 33 assists and eight digs in a home win over Indiana (PA) on Friday. She wrapped up the week with 30 assists, 10 digs and three aces in a road sweep over Seton Hill on Saturday afternoon.
