Abe Holmes led the Gannon men’s golf team to a runner-up finish at the 2021-22 PSAC Championships this past weekend. Holmes finished the 54-hole event with a 215 total over the Hershey Country Club layout. The junior would finish second, just two shots behind IUP’s Isaiah Swan, and was tied for the lead for much of the tournament. He shot an opening round 69, good for a tie for first place and his low round this year, followed by a 72 on Saturday, which left him one stroke out of the lead. He would wrap up the tournament with a 74 on Sunday.
