Redshirt senior Joe Knox (Gold Coast, Australia/The Southport School) stepped up offensively this week against Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown, scoring his first two goals of the season (and 11th and 12th of his career) while launching 10 shots (five on goal), doubling his total from the entire rest of the season combined. Both goals ended up as game-winners in 1-0 victories. His efforts also earned him this week’s PSAC West Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week award.
