Neal Mink was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Defensive Football Player of the Week after leading the Golden Knights to a 30-9 victory against Cheyney. Neal-Mink led all tacklers for the third consecutive week with 10 stops against the Wolves. The junior linebacker had seven tackles in the second half, including five in the third quarter. He added two tackles for a loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. With Gannon leading 20-9 midway through the third quarter, Neal-Mink helped the Golden Knights ice the victory when he forced a fumble at the Cheyney 26-yard line. Gannon returned the fumble to the five-yard line and scored a touchdown on the next play. Neal-Mink leads the PSAC in tackles per game (12.3), recording 37 stops in the first three games. He ranks ninth among PSAC defensive players in tackles for a loss per game (1.33).
