Cook led the Gannon volleyball team to a perfect 4-0 record last week, including a clean sweep at last weekend’s PSAC-WVIAC Crossover Tournament. The sophomore middle blocker helped Gannon defeat WVIAC foes Alderson-Broaddus, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Wheeling Jesuit at the crossover event. She led Gannon in blocks (1.40) per game last week and has committed only three errors or less in all 10 matches this season. Cook averaged 2.27 kills, 0.33 aces, and 1.40 blocks per game during four matches. She began the week by recording a career-high 13 kills during a victory against Lake Erie. She later blocked a season-high nine attempts during a victory over Alderson-Broaddus, including a career-high eight assisted blocks. Cook hit .397 for the week, including a .706 mark against Lake Erie. She had 13 kills and only one error in 17 attempts against the Storm.
