Cox hit .563 with a 1.063 slugging percentage and .563 on-base percentage during a four-game series against Indiana (Pa.) last weekend. The senior left fielder blasted two home runs while recording seven runs, two doubles, nine RBIs, 17 total bases and two stolen bases. He was also perfect in the field, including a game-clinching catch during last Saturday's 6-3 victory in game one. With Gannon holding a three-run lead and the bases loaded, Cox made a catch over the left field fence for the final out that would have been a walk-off grand slam. Cox hit .545 (6-11) with runners on base and .625 (5-8) with runners in scoring position during the series. He drove home a run all four times when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs. Cox went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three runs and six RBIs during a 15-6 victory last Friday. He followed with a 5-for-5 showing during a 20-9 win last Saturday, scoring twice and driving home three runs.Â
