Molly Andrews led the Gannon women's water polo team to a third-place finish at the 2009 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Western Division Championships hosted last weekend by Indiana University. The true freshman scored the game-winning goal during the fourth quarter of an 11-10 come-from-behind victory against Mercyhurst in the third-place match. The Lady Knights trailed 6-3 at halftime, before out-scoring the Lakers 5-4 in the third quarter and 3-0 in the fourth quarter. Andrews recorded seven goals during the tournament, finding the back of the net three times against both Grove City and Mercyhurst. She added a single goal against No. 12 Michigan.
