The senior guard helped the Golden Knights post victories against Seton Hill (75-60), Edinboro (83-69) and Clarion (87-65). He shot 62.5 percent (25-40) from the field, 72.7 percent (8-11) from three-point range and 83.3 percent (5-6) from the free throw line. Green began the week with 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals against Seton Hill. He went 7-of-12 from the field, 4-of-6 from long range and 3-of-4 from the free throw line against the Griffins. Trailing 41-39, Green scored nine straight points during a 14-0 run that gave Gannon control. He scored all 21 points during the second half after being held scoreless during the first half. Green entered the game with six three-pointers, before draining four during the second half. He followed with 21 points and three rebounds against Edinboro, hitting 10-of-15 field goal attempts. The Williamstown, N.J., native concluded the week with 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists at Clarion. He was perfect in three-point field goal attempts (3-3) and free throws attempts (2-2) while going 8-of-13 from the field. Green has reached double digits in scoring in eight straight games and 12 times this season, including four consecutive 21-point performances. He is Gannon’s leading scorer (14.8) through 16 games. Green ranks second among Golden Knights in assists (45) and steals (18).
