Eason led the Gannon men's swimming and diving team to a third-place finish out of nine teams at the Wooster Invitational. The sophomore was a double-winner, highlighted by an individual gold medal in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 21.07 seconds. He captured a second gold medal in the 400-yard freestyle relay, swimming the third leg of a 3:06.31 winning performance. Eason took care of the anchor leg for a pair of runner-up relay finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (1:24.24) and 200-yard medley (1:34.40). He also finished sixth individually in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 47.39 seconds and competed with the 400-yard medley relay team. In addition to meeting PSAC-qualifying standards in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, Eason also helped record Gannon's season-best relay times in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle.
