Smith led the Gannon women's volleyball team to a perfect 3-0 record during the final week of the regular season, helping the Lady Knights finish in a two-way tie for the best record (15-3) in the conference. The redshirt senior right side hitter averaged three kills while hitting .321 in 11 sets. She added nine blocks and seven digs. Smith began the week with a .429 hitting percentage during a 3-0 sweep at Mercyhurst, recording seven kills with only one error in 14 attempts. She committed only one error again during Gannon's next match, resulting in a sweep of Slippery Rock. Meanwhile, Smith producing 10 kills in 27 attacks for a .333 hitting percentage. She added three digs and three blocks against the Rock. The Churchville, N.Y., native concluded the week with a season-high 16 kills, five blocks and three digs during a 3-2 come-from-behind victory against Edinboro. Smith ranked second among Lady Knights in kills (237) and third in blocks (84) during the regular season.
