Harpster led the Gannon baseball team to a weekend split against Clarion with a .500 average in four games. The senior centerfielder raised his average 22 points during the series. He has recorded a hit in seven of the last eight games. Harpster has seven multiple-hit games this season. He scored three runs in only one official at-bat during Gannon’s 7-4 win at Clarion last Friday as he was hit twice and walked once. Harpster produced a 1.000 slugging percentage and .688 on-base percentage during the four-game series. He also produced seven runs, five walks, and four stolen bases.
