Eckhart led the Gannon women's golf team to a first-place finish at the Mount Union College Spring Invitational last weekend. It was Gannon's first event of the spring season. Eckhart overcame a three-stroke deficit on the final day to win the individual championship with a two-day total of 165. The junior ended the first day tied for fifth place with an 83, but won the title with an 82 during Sunday's final round.
