Wolter was a double-winner for the Gannon men's swim team during a 104.5-84.5 victory against Edinboro last Saturday at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion Pool. The senior captured an individual gold medal in the 200-yard freestyle, completing the race in one minute and 47.06 seconds. It was his first individual title of the season. Wolter's 200-yard freestyle time was his third-fastest of the year. He has met Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying standards during all five 200-yard freestyle events he competed in. Wolter also swam the second leg for the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that won with a time of one minute and 26.78 seconds. The performance represented the second-fastest time by a Gannon 200-yard freestyle relay team this season. He has participated in the 200-yard freestyle relay only five times this season. Saturday's victory was his first of the year in the event. Wolter completed his day with a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, recording a time of five minutes and 7.28 seconds.
