Mourchid scored twice to help the Gannon men's soccer team post a 3-2 overtime victory at No. 20 Notre Dame (Ohio) last Sunday. The senior forward initally tied the match at one with his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute, ripping a shot off a Falcon and into the net. Gannon forced overtime after scoring on a header off a rebound with 2:02 left in regulation. Mourchid then netted the game-winner with nine seconds remaining in the first overtime session, blasting a shot past the Notre Dame goalkeeper and into the right side of the net from 18 yards out. Mourchid has already tied his goal total from a season ago through only two matches in 2016.
