Millerd helped seventh-ranked Gannon women's lacrosse team get off to a 2-1 start by scoring 15 goals and recording two assists for a total of 17 points in Gannon’s three matches last week in Winter Park, Fla. In a tough 15-13 double-overtime loss to Rollins in the season opener, she scored two goals and recorded one assist. Two days later, she helped the Lady Knights win their first match of the year by scoring five goals and recording an assist in a 21-10 win over St. Anselm. Millerd then racked up eight goals on Sunday in a 20-9 victory over Queens (N.C.). For the week, she also accumulated 16 groundballs and won 16 draw controls.
