Zbrzeznj finished fourth out of 87 golfers with a two-round total of four-over-par 148 at last weekend's Mike Bello Spring Invitational hosted by Le Moyne College. The senior sat in 22nd place after shooting a 77 during the first round, but skyrocketed 18 spots into fourth place with a career-best one-under-par 71 during the final 18 holes. Zbrzeznj tied Concordia's Kanoon Bunthanawong and St. Rose's Corey Purcell for the final round's best score. He recorded five birdies throughout the event, representing the 10th-most among the 87-golfer field. His 4.10 average on par-4 holes was the fifth-best. Zbrzeznj's fourth-place finish topped his season's resume, surpassing his previous high of 11th at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. He finished one place shy of his career-best set during his first collegiate event when Zbrzeznj placed third at the Hal Hansen Invitational September 9-10, 2012. Zbrzeznj shot a career-best 71 for the fourth time during his collegiate career.
