Mozingo led the Gannon women's lacrosse team to a perfect 2-0 record last week, helping post a 12-7 victory against undefeated Wheeling Jesuit in the home opener and come-from-behind 13-12 win at Lake Erie. The junior midfielder recorded nine goals, one assist, 10 points, five ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls. She began the week with three goals, one assist, four points, five ground balls and four caused turnovers against Wheeling Jesuit, tying her career-high in caused turnovers. Mozingo ended the week with six goals and two draw controls at Lake Erie as Gannon rallied from a 10-6 deficit. She recorded her second consecutive hat trick and third of her career, producing three goals during each half at Lake Erie. Mozingo's sixth goal of the match snapped an 11-11 tie with 9:23 remaining. She entered the Lake Erie contest with two goals during the first four matches this season, before scoring six. Her previous career-high was three. Mozingo leads Gannon in goals (11) through five matches. She ranks second among Lady Knights in points (12) and caused turnovers (7).
