Lydic earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honors three times, recorded six NCAA “B” cut times, broke two school records and won two gold medals at the conference championships last weekend at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pennsylvania. The performances helped the Gannon women's swim team place fourth out of 12 teams, marking the program's fifth consecutive top-five finish. Lydic captured the 100-yard freestyle championship, beginning with a school record time of 51.46 in the prelims. The senior posted NCAA “B” cut times during the prelims and finals of both the 50-yard freestyle (24.04, 23.85) and 100-yard freestyle (51.46, 51.73). She helped the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.35) and 400-yard freestyle (3:28.51) relay teams record NCAA “B” cut times, swimming the anchor leg for both squad. Lydic completed the 400-yard freestyle relay team’s gold-medal performance as the last swimmer. She has won all seven 100-yard butterfly events she competed in this season. In addition, Lydic has recorded PSAC-qualifying times during all 20 races she has competed in this season in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle.
