Freeman led the Gannon women's basketball team to a perfect week with victories over Mercyhurst (76-68) and Lock Haven (78-48), extending the Lady Knights’ win streak to 10 games. The junior guard averaged 13 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 58.8 percent (10-17) from the field. She became the 20^th female player in school history to score 1,000 career points last Thursday against Mercyhurst. Freeman has reached double digits in scoring during 12 consecutive games and 19 times this season. She is two three-pointers shy of becoming the 10^th female player in school history to hit 100 during her career. Gannon is ranked No. 24 in NCAA Division II and No. 2 in the Atlantic region.
