Swope was one of seven Gannon wrestlers who posted a victory during a 31-15 victory at 20th-ranked Shippensburg last Saturday. His victory helped Gannon posted its fifth consecutive win and moved the Golden Knights to 8-2 in dual matches this season. Gannon, which was among others receiving votes in the last four top-20 poll, has defeated three top-20 teams in its last four matches. Swope improved to 19-11 overall and 6-2 in dual matches with a victory against Shippensburg via a technical fall in the 133-pound match. The sophomore secured the technical fall by a 21-6 count at the 5:31 mark. Swope also has four pins this season.
