Barto has been named Gannon Athletics Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this spring. The true freshman began the weekend by tying for first place out of 39 golfers at the Gannon Spring Invitational hosted by Peek'n Peak Golf Resort in Clymer, New York. He earned the top spot with a three-under-par 67. It represented the lowest score of his freshman campaign and his sixth top-five finish in 10 events this season. Barto followed with a seventh-place finish at the two-day Mercyhurst Spring Invitational hosted by Lake View Country Club. He finished among the top 10 for the eight time this season with rounds of 73 and 78.
