Tobin came out of the bullpen for the first time in his career and produced two solid relief outings for the Gannon baseball team. The senior lefthander had a 2.25 earned run average and limited the opposition to a .231 batting average in four innings of work. He surrendered only three hits, struck out two and walked none. Tobin began the week with three relief innings at No. 21 Mercyhurst. He allowed only one run on one hit, struck out two and walked none. Tobin came out of the pen five days later to toss a shutout inning of relief against Slippery Rock. This week's two relief appearances came after 33 consecutive starting assignments.
