Moran was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Softball Athlete of the Week after hitting a combined .478 (11-23) with three runs, three RBIs and five doubles in eight games last week at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. The Maroon and Gold posted a 6-5 overall mark to open the season in the Sunshine State, while registering a record of 5-1 against NCAA Atlantic Region teams. The highlight of the week for Moran came during Gannon's 10-9 victory against Georgian Court in the eighth inning March 5. Trailing 9-5 and heading into the bottom of the eighth, the Lady Knights managed to pull within one of the Lions. With runners at second and third, Moran buried a two-RBI double into the right-center gap to capture the walk-off victory. Moran helped Gannon capture a 4-2 win against Cedarville March 2, recording a game-high two doubles. She scored two of the four runs tallied in the contest. The next day, Moran went a combined 4-for-6 as Gannon split with Southern New Hampshire and Walsh. She went 2-for-3 in each game with a double and a run during the Lady Knights' 10-4 win against Walsh. The sophomore led off the Lady Knights' five-run explosion in the third inning with a double, before later scoring on a single to tally the team's first run. During its stretch in Florida, Gannon posted a 6-2 record with Moran in the lineup. The second baseman is currently on a four-game hitting streak and has compiled five multiple-hit games to share second place on the team.
